For you to get the most out of the content on this site it may be easiest to tell you what my intentions or goals are.
The main purpose of this site is to help people break free from the fears and bondage of this world so that they can completely fulfill their true calling in God. I try to do this by sharing revelation and being an example of the faithfullness of God as you step out and trust Him.
It may be beneficial to understand my timeline with this walk so you can get a little context of where this content is coming from:
| 2001 |
- Born Again. |
| Fall 2005 |
- (Revelation) Received the call in Luke 14:25-35. |
| 2006 |
- (Seperation) Started the process of seperating from the world system. |
| 2007 |
- (Preperation) On-the-job-training street ministry. |
In my opinion and observation, one of the greatest bondages of the American church is money. Whether the abundance or lack of it. People often measure how far they can go in God by their bank account or how much they work at their fulltime job (trying to fit God in their lifestyle).
Matthew 6:19-34 is the provision of God for those that seek Him. Jesus gives us the freedom to completely live for the Kingdom of God, if we have the courage to step into it.
A lot of what I have to say is what God has been teaching me through this process. The first step for me was separating from the “world system” (quitting my fulltime job, giving away all possessions, and moving out from our house). We cut all the fat and lowered our need for income to it’s lowest point so that we wouldn’t have to work in the world as much and we could give ourselves over to the Kingdom of God in a greater measure.
So right now a lot of the content here has to do with money and serving God…how you can’t serve both at the same time. I write it in the exact way I received it from the Lord. Sometimes it’s a little sharp or jolting, but that’s the way God got my attention. He did it in complete love and patience, so I hope I convey that over as well.
In my opinion, and in my life, the first step to becoming a missionary (after you’ve discovered and have a revelation of the call) is to seperate from the world system and begin to enter into the Kingdom of God. The love of money is the root of all evil, so we start at the root. The contrast to the world system when it comes to money and provision is found in Matthew 6:19-34. That’s the direction I come from.
The next phase is this on-the-job-training. The first step with me has been street ministry, mainly open air street preaching at this time. That will be the direction I’m going towards at this particular season.
I hope you enjoy the articles here and I hope I can pass the same compassion and love that the Lord has extended to me. The Lord is very gracious and full of mercy as we step out and trust Him to enter into our full calling.
- TO GET YOU STARTED -
First and foremost, you need to get a revelation (not just head information) about your call in the Kingdom of God. I recommend assimilating the gospels. I write about it here. You also need to learn to hear from God for yourself and develop a strong prayer life, you can’t do anything without a true relationship with your Father. I don’t have any specific articles about this, just one on a revelation I received on Hearing The Voice Of God.
Some key revelations on money and living in the Kingdom of God:
- Our specific story
- What Excuse Is Good Enough
- You Can’t Serve God and Money. PERIOD
- Do I Have To Quit My Job?
Some revelations on preaching the gospel:
- Lessons From The Street - "It’s Go And Tell, Not Come And Listen"
- Lessons From The Street - One-on-One Thoughts
- Empty Words Or Power?
Be Blessed,
Paul

Hello Clareice,
Are you wanting to take a missionary trip or do you want to incorporate more of a missionary lifestyle?
Are you into the short term or long term?

What about the fact I am 57, single, and female? I can’t rest knowing souls are going to hell. I want to do ALL I can so I won’t regret. What could be more important than rescuing souls from eternal hell? I’ve wasted so much time living for myself. I don’t want to waste another minute but is it too late? Thanks for this site. I’m so glad it’s here.

Hello,
I work with Freedom Ministries. Becoming a missionary is only difficult if you listen to all the noise. 1 Tim. 6:8 says “having food and raiment therewith be content”. If you can train yourself to be content in any environment then there is nothing that can can make you otherwise. The missionaries of today have to have all the bells and whistles. Where is that in the Bible? Go and burden no one if possible. Go and expect no pat on the back. Go and be content that you are a light in the darkness. Jason

I AM CURRENTLY TRYING TO TRAIN IN THE MEDICAL FIELD OF VOCATIONAL NURSING. ONCE I FIND A SCHOOL WHERE I CAN PASS THE ENTRANCE EXAM AND COMPLETE THE PROGRAM, I WOULD LIKE USE THIS TRIANING AND SKILL COMBINED WITH THE TEACHINGS OF CHRIST TO HELP OTHERS. I GUESS MY QUESTION IS HOW CAN BECOME A MISSIONARY, AND HOW LONG IS ONE USUALLY AWAY?
THANK YOU
